So here we are again. As promised, i thought i might fill you in on some of the things im interested in. Last week in our VFX lecture, Andrew showed us some awesome animation by a guy called Rosto AD. I have no idea what its about, but im in love with the visual style of the thing. Rosto AD has come into the spotlight after being nominated for various awards and winning the Grand Prix Canal Award at the Critic's Week Award Ceremony in Cannes for his work on "Jona/Tomberry". dude, how freaky and twisted was it. I didnt like the story much at the time, but it really did stick in my head, especially the cries of the baby... it almost felt surreal watching it... I love the style also! very ver good. thanks for the link to the site too! well dont ol' chap!
